The scheme works by offering between 15% - 50% equity share in the property funded by the government via a series of local HomeBuy agents who approve each applicant, (this will be done by our Financial/Mortgage Adviser who will go through the scheme and fill in any necessary paperwork for you). Remaining funds are made available from an approved lender such as the Halifax, who will lend the full 100% of the remaining amount (subject to affordability and credit checking). You pay a small monthly fee on the HomeBuy equity which must be included in the affordability calculations. AND you are also eligible for £1,500 towards the moving costs.

Our Home Exchange Scheme allows you to avoid certain costs, such as estate agent fees and abortive fees. Furthermore Home Exchange saves you time, sleepless nights and the inconvenience that are part of putting your home on the open market.
Home Exchange couldn't be simpler or fairer. If JDS Residential agrees to take your current home as part payment we will appoint at least two local independent estate agents to carry out a market appraisal and then we will make you an offer within forty eight hours.
Once the price is agreed we will appoint a surveyor to carry out a comprehensive survey of your current property and appoint solicitors. Once contracts are exchanged your dream home from JDS Residential will become a reality.
Of course we want you to get the highest possible value for your current property. We will therefore encourage you to market your home and take advantage of any increases in market value right up to six weeks before completion.
If you have not sold your house within six weeks of completion, JDS Residential will take over the marketing of the property and will purchase the property outright to coincide with the completion of your new home.
